Student Support

  • Mentorship
    Mentorship is an integral part of the "Crnjanski" high school system. Students choose a subject teacher to be their mentor throughout high school. The mentor’s role is to monitor the student's performance in school, offering insights into the social and emotional development of the student, and providing support when needed. Mentors are mediators between students and other teachers, and they maintain regular contact with parents. Students choose their mentors according to a number of factors, including affinity to the subject matter, professional outlook, and personal interests.
  • Extracurricural activites
    Extracurricular activities in the "Crnjanski" high school take place on a regular basis and represent a significant segment of the teaching plan as they are focused on developing creativity and acquiring new skills amongst students. Some of the themes cover acting, art, sports, psychology, as well as debate (as part of the UN Club). These activities are an integral part of the cultural and public life of the school. They are created and maintained by a team of dedicated professors to nurture students’ talents. The rich cultural life of the school is an important feature of the "Crnjanski" high school. Through creativity of words, movements, tones and colors, the students and professors together create a new, magical world.

    The motto of the "Crnjanski" high school is "Knowledge is value!" The road to knowledge is not easy, this is why our students have support at all times from professors who give additional classes, consultations and help students to expand, upgrade and fortify their knowledge.

Individual Teaching

"Crnjanski" High School offers individual teaching to all students who need such an approach. Mainly, it refers to active athletes who, due to frequent training, are not able to attend regular classes, but also to students who cannot attend classes in a regular schedule due to their involvement in other extracurricular activities. Our students on individual teaching program are promising tennis, football, basketball players, rowers, as well as talented musicians. An individual plan is made for each student in accordance with the time that the student can dedicate to learning. The curriculum is respected, but the methods are adapted to individualized work and the acquisition of adequate knowledge in all teaching areas provided by the program. In this way, students are enabled to be equally successful in school and in extracurricular activities.
