Coordinator's word

Dear students, parents, and future IB students,

Welcome to the IB Diploma Programme — a programme that offers students far more than academic knowledge. In a world shaped by rapid change and global connectivity, I believe education should be a space for developing critical thinking, creativity, responsibility, and the ability to understand different perspectives.

Our school proudly continues its tradition of international education as the first public school in Serbia accredited to offer the IB Diploma Programme back in 2006. As the new Programme Coordinator and a Visual Arts teacher, I hope we will continue building an open and modern learning community where students feel encouraged to explore, ask questions, and develop their own ideas.

The IB programme encourages students to:

  • develop independence, curiosity, and critical thinking
  • connect knowledge across different subject areas and approach global issues from multiple perspectives
  • respect cultural, linguistic, and personal diversity
  • build empathy, collaboration, and responsibility toward their community and the world around them
  • use creativity and communication as essential skills for the future

One of the greatest values of the IB programme is its international community of students and educators around the world, creating opportunities for collaboration, exchange of ideas, and learning beyond the classroom.

If you are looking for an education that encourages curiosity, open-mindedness, and personal growth, we invite you to become part of our IB community.

I look forward to meeting future generations of students and to everything we will continue to create, explore, and achieve together.

Sincerely,
Jelisaveta Milojević
